Brighton Music Conference Announce 5th Birthday Party Events

Brighton Music Conference has just announced it's pre-conference parties and networking events that you don't want to miss out on!

BMC 18 have just released their official networking and party events in the build up to their 2018 conference, these events are a chance to let loose and rub shoulders with industry figures before heading to the two day industry showcase!

This year’s BMC Official Fifth Birthday Parties include Eats Everything at Take (Thursday 26th April), Drum & Bass Arena presents Friction at Patterns (Friday 27th April), BMC & LNADJ charity party at Bau Wow with Alex Banks and Steve Mac, and legendary fabric resident Craig Richards at Patterns (Saturday 28th April). 

Be sure not to miss On The House Records and Rebel Beats presents: Wiggle’s 24th Birthday party with Nathan Coles, Terry Francis, Eddie Richards, Magnus AbergKristoEli K at Bau Wow, and Alex Niggemann, Alice Clark, Timo Garcia, MonicaPook and Markus Saarlander at Berlin, Green Door Store!

Elsewhere catch the Hacienda Classical Evening with Graeme Park at Komedia, Franky Rizardo at The Arch and Drum Safari at Hideout on Saturday night!

AFEM bring you the official BMC launch party at The Tempest on Wednesday, whilst across the city you’ll find different industry experts and representatives bringing you masterclasses and unreal parties! Data Transmission head to Hotel Pelirocco, Novation and Focusrite with Alex Arnout will be heading to Block and Seamus Haji hold down Tempest on the Thursday.

Be sure not to miss out on Hospital Records at Dead Wax with DJ Chris Goss, Dexta, Matti Limitless and SharpStream with Timo Garcia, Steve Whittle and Zoe Zoe at Block. Plus, PRS For Music’s networking party with Tru Thoughts and J-FelixSkiddle and AudioLock with Just Her & These Machines!

Before heading to the two-day conference at the Brighton Dome, be sure to head down to the Tempest for the annual AFEM Networking and BMC Welcome Drinks returns to The Tempest on Wednesday 25th with DJs from 6pm-10:30pm!

Focusrite/Novation will host the BMC demonstration igloo for 2018. Focusrite, the best-selling audio interface brand together with keyboard and DJ hardware and software creator Novation are running 10 seminars across 2 days including ‘Hitting the Stage – performing studio-based productions live on stage’ with CALC.

For those looking to further their production skills, head to ‘Composition and processing technique’ and ‘Mix and arrangement Exploration’ with UK trance artist James Dymond (Armada/Future Sound).

East End Dubs will be hosting ‘State of the Art Synthesis’ whilst Alex Jann will be hosting demonstrations on the Friday. And finally, be sure to check out ‘Create, Capture and Arrange’ with Alex Arnout!
