Foul Play, J Majik, Harmony - Plus Locked Up Music Takeover @ Brighton Love's Jungle

We've pulled out all the stops yet again to bring a line up of heavyweight bonafide jungle dons to nice up the place and put a smile on your face....

FOUL PLAY - responsible for underground hit after hit, from starting off with Volume One and Two on Oblivion Records in 1992, undisputed anthem Finest Illusion in 1993, and then throughout the decade with seminal Moving Shadow EPs and remixes, it's fair to say that Foul Play are truly a legendary name in the genre and responsible for some of the biggest tunes from it's golden era. The back catalogue is simply too long to list here. We are extremely privileged and proud to have John from Foul Play play a Foul Play DJ set for your entertainment.
J Majik - referred to by Goldie as the Luke Skywalker of jungle dnb, J Majik is one of the most accomplished artists's in the jungle scene, after making a name for himself in 1993 with his Infrared Records label he was quickly signed to Metalheadz and his single 'Your Sound' is recognised as one of their biggest tunes from a time when jungle was at it's peak. A slew of quality deep musical breakbeat heavy jungle tunes followed on Reinforced Records and Metalheadz, truly quality timeless beats. J Majik has relaunched Infrared records in 2018 with some previously unreleased gems from his archives, and we expect him to play some exclusive dubplate pressure on the night!
HARMONY - Deep Jungle Records label owner and scene veteran, Harmony's career started way back in the early 90s, working at the Luckyspin Records shops, and Moving Shadow's 'Section 5' record shop he had exclusive access to what went on to become some of the rarest test presses, promos, and limited releases in jungle. He is also of course known for his production too, with big releases and killer remixes on Lucky Spin, Moving Shadow and Section 5, many with production partner Extreme. Also known for having one of the largest and most enviable ollection of original acetate dubplates from the 90s, it's no exaggeration to say Harmony really is the dubplate kid. This is a rare treat.....
