After Tame Impala's emphatic return and sole performance in the UK last year, what Citadel had in store for music lovers in 2019 has been a hot topic since festival line-ups started showing up. The festival is a chilled out affair, featuring live music, DJs, comedy, and entertaining performances. It's only one-day of festivities, however they've managed to fit in an incredible roster of artists to match last year.
Situated in the London Borough of Hounslow in the West of the city. Acton Town Underground on the Picadilly and Distric lines, is a dedicated stop for the event. It's only a 7 minute walk from there to the festival so travelling couldn't be easier.
Headliners, Catfish and the Bottlemen are of course worth sticking around until the end for. The indie-rock outfit from Wales are known for their sharp edge, cutting lyrics and putting on a show. Also on the billing is Rag'n'Bone man who had a killer 2018 and performed at the Brits in 2019 with Calvin Harris. Summer festival favourites of our childhood, Friendly Fires, are taking to the stage. Be sure to look out for the talented Fontaines D.C, Dream Wife, Matt Corby and Squid who our ones to watch out for at Citadel.
