A three day music festival on the south coast, Victorious Festival has grown year after year since its beginnings in 2011. Much loved for its big name headliners and delightful setting, Victorious Festival is an absolute bargain day out from only £35 for a Sunday ticket.
Located on the lovely Southsea coast in Portsmouth, Victorious Festival is in an ideal spot to be spending your bank holiday weekend. Getting to Pompey is a short bus or train away from Bournemouth, Brighton and Southampton universities.
Friday: Legendary ska outfit, The Specials, warm things up on the first day with an interesting co-headline slot with indie-pop band, Two Door Cinema Club, who return after a brief hiatus. The original "Valerie" boys, The Zutons, are there too as well as Fleetingwood Mac, a tribute band to... well we're sure you can work that one out.
Saturday: Bloc Party are bringing the nostalgia with their Silent Alarm Set, playing all the songs from their debut album. Lewis Capaldi rivalled Calvin Harris to the top spot of the chart in March after the release of his latest record, "Someone You Loved".
Sunday: Although they've dropped Blue Monday from their sets, New Order still have a killer backlog of hits that have earned them their legendary status. A Basemant Jaxx DJ set in the sun is taking our fancy for the day as is some Tom Grennan and Ziggy Marley who is the afternoon special guest.
