The two-day festival situation in Clapham has gone from strength to strength being nominated for a UK Festival Award three times. With a nice mix of EDM, garage, drum & bass, grime and RnB, SW4 is perfect for the ravers out there whether you're into mainstream dance music or underground.
As the name suggests, situated in the south-west of London at the postcode, SW4, is the festival's location, Clapham Common. A tube ride away from major train stations and University campuses, the festival is great for students looking for a big knees up in the glorious August sunshine. And with class out for summer and no work on the Monday, we can all stay up late and have a drink on the Sunday!
Day 1: Young EDM star, Martin Garrix blew up after the release of his chart-topping hit, Animals in 2011. His headline show is sure to be a spectacle of big drops and insane pyrotechnics. Craig David is back on the festival circuit with 'TS5' - you know the songs and we all love a bit of UKG nostalgia. The hit-factory that is Tinie Tempah will light up the afternoon headline slot with bangers such as Pass Out and Miami 2 Ibiza, plus Armand Van Helden, Basement Jaxx and rising star, Mabel make for a mix of talent on the first day.
Day 2: Twisted Firestarters, The Prodigy, headline the second day. After the release of their new album last year, we can't wait to see a mix of the old and the new in their setlist. Chase and Status headline the indoor stage and Plan B is the afternoon headliner, who out of those two will play 'End Credits' is a mystery. Maybe both, maybe together? (we hope so!). Get ready for DnB royalty, Andy C and Pendulum's dubstep alter ego, Knife Party as well as Wiley and and Wretch 32 bringing the grime and hip-hop to Clapham Common.
