We've got an awesome line up this Friday with three local rock bands each playing two acoustic stripped back special sets for our Maple Leaf Lounge Session. It's going to be great, we can't wait!

Southampton's own, Reawaken are a heavy, high powered alternative rock band formed in late October 2016. Their harmonious, eerie tones contrasted with their bewitching stage presence they are able to capture the attention of any audience.
Reawaken will be enjoyed by all but especially fans of Halestorm, Stone Broken, Black Stone Cherry and Alterbridge.
Recently they’ve released their debut single ‘If You Only Knew’ and further Uk/European shows are being planned. Over the last few months they have shared the stage with the likes of Courage My Love, Echoic, Thecityisours, BONES and Trapt.

A Formal Horse is a visceral rock quartet working out of Southampton. The band released their debut EP in June 2014, recorded by Rob Aubrey (John Wetton, Big Big Train). They’ve since performed at A New Day Festival alongside The Stranglers and Focus, released a second EP to critical acclaim (Classic Rock, 8/10) and have been nominated for a Progressive Music Award. They continue to play shows in the UK and Europe, and are currently working on two follow-up records.
“The Southampton quartet’s second EP, combines nervy, twitching rhythms – think XTC playing Voivod’s back catalogue – with pure-as-the-driven female vocals. The result is oddly intoxicating.” - Classic Rock Magazine (8/10)
“The ability to turn on a dime with such élan says a lot about their musicianship. Yet in addition to their dexterity, A Formal Horse possess warmth and charm.” - Prog Magazine

Hailing from the breakwater towns of South East England, Our Propaganda is Jack Denton, Charlie Denton, Joe Newman and Harvey Groom. A rock band through and through but with more to offer than just drinking songs and fake stories of 70s style extravagance. “Sometimes music comes out of nowhere and you wonder why the artist isn’t better known. Our Propaganda are a case in point... confident and bold with a cool rock sensibility, these guys have a great future!” Alan Dorey (Forest FM).
Our Propaganda is an honest creation of this generation. Lyrically, it’s a band that looks further than the buttons on their jeans. We're a direct response to the world we’ve been handed, the media we’ve been force fed and the lifestyle we’ve chosen as a consequence. After all, where would music be without a little revolution?
