The eagle-eyed amongst you might have noticed the cryptic clues cropping up around the city, promising “hot bands, secret locations and free exclusive experiences” over the next month in unexpected and undisclosed locations across Cardiff.

All you have to do is text SHWSH to 60777 and wait for the details via text about the secret events that’ll take place between the 2nd and 11th of August. A number of local restaurants, shops and businesses are also offering special discounts to people who show SHWSH texts at the check-out as part of Dydd Miwsig Cymru and the Eisteddfod that’s visiting Cardiff for the first time in a decade, celebrating Welsh language music and culture.

SHWSH said: “Team SHWSH has a few rules. The first rule is to text SHWSH to 60777 and await further instructions. The second rule is don’t say a word to anyone. That’s how you can be there when the beat drops for an experience you’ll never forget.”
