Introducing Sauce, your monthly guide to the spiciest events coming up across the country.

Picture this. It's September. The heatwave is over and England's beer gardens are abandoned. University looms; it's no longer coming home and the 5th place Love Island contestants are popping up in every shit club from Halifax's Acapulco to Club NEO in Yeovil.

An uber, a train, or, pushing it, a bus, are the only logical forms of travel as we head into the inevitable grey and windy reminder that we don't live in a tropical equator belt country.

You need a reason to leave the house. You need floor-filling bangers and unique party concepts to drag you away from Netflix and your mind-eroding routine of reciting Peep Show episodes perfectly with your housemates before realising there's nothing actually playing on the TV.

You need The Sauce™
