A roof terrace, £3 pints and a NASA-approved sound-system? YES.

In a world where music venues seem to be closing their doors for good every other week, Manchester is doing the opposite.

Say hello to YES. A brand new four-story multipurpose venue opening its doors on September 21st.

The space, a former auctioneers house and printing press on Manchester's Charles Street, will feature a basement club, ground floor beer hall and bar, a live music room and an open rooftop terrace kitted out with a NASA-approved sound system. Entry into the bar and roof terrace will be kept free.

Manchester-based promoters Now Wave have already lined up a whole host of top electronic artists, bands and artists in anticipation, with the likes of Octavian, Gilles Peterson, Sam Evian, Boy Azooga, Snail Mail, Bodega and more.

“We’re proud to be able to contribute to the city’s independent scene which is why we’ll continue promoting events in its other amazing venues and we hope YES will allow our collective experience to help others do amazing things as well,” - co-founder Jon Wickstead.

But most importantly, pints start at £2.95. YES.
