Folk, rock, pop... they do everything

When you think of an upbeat folk rock pop band you think of Mumford and Sons, but we bet you didn't know how massive they got after their first three albums. They headlined Glastonbury?!

The band have recently been teasing new music on their socials and today saw the announcement of their new album Delta, to be released on November 14, as well as the release of new single 'Guiding Light'. While third album Wilder Mind took a more rock approach from their folky stance on the opening two LPs, the latest track promises another slight change.

The band played a few new songs during their headline set at Sziget Festival, but 'Guiding Light' is the first to be released properly. Talking on BBC Radio 1, they discussed how they returned to the instruments they ignored during Wilder Mind but made them sound a bit different. Basically, there's a cool piano in this new track and they've made banjos not banjos. A more poppy vibe.

Tour dates for their worldwide shows will be announced on October 4, but until then enjoy the return of the Mumfords!
