Time to get spooky

Festival of the Dead is coming to Manchester's Bowlers Exhibition Centre on Friday 2nd November.

The international touring event merges a freaky circus performance with a spectacular clubbing experience, featuring costumed performers, acrobats, creatures and characters. There will even be a huge mechanical skull (just what you were expecting, right?).

The festival originated as a one-off club night at London's The Troxy, but has since toured the world as a unique Halloween clubbing spectacle. It is set to tour top students cities around the UK, including Glasgow and Brmingham before it reaches Manchester.

This year's event theme is based around one man's journey into the underworld, with the event promising to be a full-frontal carnival, complete with light shows, live music, pinatas and a fifteen foot tall vulture.

Day of the Dead fancy dress is highly encouraged, and there will be professional face painters at the event to help get everyone into the Halloween spirit.

Final release tickets are available here, with student discount available along with VIP packages.
