No tricks here, all treats

Halloween is approaching. That bone-chilling fear of missing out hovers over you like a paranormal spectre waiting to torture your indecsiveness with yet another (un)dead clubnight.

You don't want to be that zombie shuffling home after an night as lively as a Dracula-drained corpse, so we've compiled a few of the best upcoming Halloween events across the country:

Triple Cooked: Leeds - Disco of the Dead / Church, Leeds / Tickets

In possibly one of the best venues for a trick or treat rave, Church, Triple Cooked returns to Leeds with their annual Disco of the Dead. Expect Halloween makeovers and themed drinks, spooky decor and some of the finest house and disco to raise the dead.

GT x TNK Halloween Spooktacular Ft Romare, Jasper James & Cromby / The Night Kitchen, Liverpool / Tickets

With one of the most sinister line-ups, Broken Teeth x The Night(mare) Kitchen are bringing some truly ghoulish selectors to see you through the witching hour until the safety of sunrise.

Applying the collage style (and name) of visual artist Romare Bearden to his music, Romare always provides a bubbling cauldron of jazz, funk and worldly rhythms that never fails to dissapoint. Joining him is one of the hottest DJs right now, Jasper James, whose off-kilter house and heads-down techno rocketed him out of the vibrant Glasgow house scene to become an international name.

Plus, Cromby, whose 6-year residency at Belfast's legendary Shine has seen him drop weapons on the likes of Denis Sulta's Silver Service label and pick up accolades from the likes of Tim Sweeney who named it one of his tracks of the year.

Carnevil / Cannon Place Warehouse, Brighton / Tickets

Since it’s announcement, Brighton’s new warehouse venue has being gathering some serious hype. This 2500-cap venue will throw open its doors on Halloween with one of the biggest parties to hit the city in a long ol' time.

3 stages of D&B, Bass, House, Grime and more, plus live actors, funfair games, stalls, games, face painters, incredible Halloween decor, food stalls and official after-parties late into the night. Nice.

Seriously, if you’re new in town, this is the event for you. With the likes of Sub FocusYungenCongo Natty, DJ Zinc and more to be announced, this could be the biggest party of the year.

Homerpalooza - Treehouse Of Horror Special / Soup Kitchen, Manchester / Tickets

Featuring all the music played throughout the classic TV show's infinite number of series, this is kinda light-hearted Halloween fun we like. After selling out Texture last year, Homerpalooza is back for a Simpsons Halloween clubnight that promises to be everything you want.

Treehouse of Horror drag performances? Tick.

Prizes for the most impressive Simpsons costumes? You bet.

Just Jack Halloween - Return To The Laserdome / Motion, Bristol / Tickets

The infamous Just Jack Halloween party returns to the laserdome. With a post-apocolyptic rave wasteland theme, where the world has crumbled and hard-hitting Techno tracks are as precious as fossil fuels, expect a massive Halloween night jam-packed with 5 of the world's most respected selectors gracing the decks.

Dress code: "Think post apocalyptic acid-house anarchists, undead rave rebels, Mad Max chic, Blade Runner freaks, that kinda of vibe."

Oh and did we mention? Lasers. Lots of lasers.
