We've had Take That, Rod Stewart, potentially Muse, and now Massive Attack

Despite the Bristol Arena complications, the city is still getting some huge names to play some concerts, and it's been announced today (October 30) that legendary duo Massive Attack will play Bristol next March.

A one-off show will take place at a specially created venue at Filton Airfield (which, incidentally, is one of the possible locations of the Bristol Arena), as part of their MezzanineXXI tour.

Tickets go on sale here on November 2 at 10:00 for the gig on March 1. They last played Bristol in 2016 for the first edition of The Downs Festival.

In case you don't know who Massive Attack are, their track Teardrop is edging closer and closer to 100 million streams on Spotify, and they have a couple of number one albums and have toured the whole world.

The other shows on their mini tour next year are Glasgow, Manchester and London, closing in Bristol, so it will be a very special show.
