Brightonians Discojuice & Sheffield-based party planners Saul Sessions are joining forces to bring the South Coast one of their best and most significant events to date. This is the first time we see local promoters Discojuice host an event at the seafront club Patterns, taking over the downstairs basement with some of their favourite artists in the game. Dan Shake, O'Flynn and Cervo will be providing the soundtrack for the night, so expect to dance your heart out to the best tunes in the business.

After handing over his demo to the legendary Moodymann while working at Dimensions Festival, Dan Shake hasn't looked back since entering the underground dance music scene. Securing a release on Mahogani Music, a rare occasion for a non-Detroit artist, he has gone on to prove his credentials with esteemed releases on imprints such as Lumberjacks in Hell and Delusions of Grandeur – caving out his own unique disco-house sound (and occasional acid banger) along the way. Shake's DJ sets are an example of his keen attention to detail, mixing an exquisite selection of crowd-pleasers with rare raw cuts, and deep crate digging finds.

Baptised by Boiler Room as 'one of dance music's most prosperous newcomers', London-based O'Flynn backs up this description with his stellar releases and unmissable DJ sets. Generating a unique afrobeat-influenced sound, incorporating world samples, with infectious rhythmics, through releases on Blip Discs, and now snatched up on esteemed independent label tycoon Ninja Tune – O'Flynn's return to Brighton is a must see.

Co-founder and resident of club night/label: Banana Hill, Cervo has steadily formed an identity as a diverse DJ. Tying together jazz, disco, afrobeat, kwaito, techno, house, soul, kuduro, footwork and more – his effortless mixing between disparate genres means he is a master of selection. With his earlier production work picked up on Stamp the Wax and many other sites, 2017 sees his debut EP being released on Lumberjack in Hell, with releases also on Mawimni, Beating Heart and the new Banana Hill imprint. Forming the label and club night in Sheffield a few years back, fellow Steel Cityians Saul Sessions will be bringing some home ground talent down to Brighton with them.
