Full line-up and tickets out now!

Described by The Independent as “one of the most important boutique festivals that the UK has to offer”, Gottwood is a truly unique gathering which has played a key role in bolstering the UK’s electronic music scene for numerous years.

This year’s line-up is a testament to the eclectic mix of electronic artists throughout the UK and further afield, and a showcase of the next generation of up-and-coming talents as well as those who have defined the sounds of decades gone by.

Taking a closer look at this year’s fantastic line-up, we break down some of the artists we think you should definitely be heading to Wales to see:

Ben UFO

Co-founder of Hessle Audio, Ben UFO is the man of the moment and one of the hottest DJs in the world right now. Having emerged through the dubstep scenes in London and Leeds in 2005, the multi-genre DJ has grown rapidly over the years to become one of the top selectors out there right now. As a DJ (and occasional singer), he has built a career on the basis of his mixing and selecting skills, rather than delving into production, exploring sounds both old and new across the worlds of house, garage, dubstep, grime and a whole lot more.

Jackmaster b2b Grain

Glasweigan legend Jackmaster teams up with Arthur Smith (AKA, Artwork) appearing under his rarely seen Techno alias, Grain. This is a performance you cannnot afford to miss; two legends, one back to back performance. Jackmaster has now established himself as one of the top DJs in the world, and a b2b performance with Grain will definitely be a hightlight of the weekend! Artwork, who holds an XOYO and Radio 1 residency, is rarely seen performing under this alias making this set a must see!

Avalon Emerson

Software designer turned DJ and producer Avalon Emerson is a creative force to be reckoned with. The Berlin-based talent took a big step up in 2017, ascending to the top of the underground scene with her refreshing DIY attitude and approach to everything she touches

Her sets are notoriously jam-packed with spaced out house and transcendent techno, often throwing unreleased material and demos into the mix alongside remixes of the likes of Slowdive, Octa Octa, Lena Platonos and Bwana. Be sure not to miss out on one of the undergrounds A-list DJs and producers!

Hunee
A true connoisseur, Hunee is a man who is not afraid to throw a disco curve-ball into a techno set, or just about anything else. Serving up eclectic mixes curated with a love and knowledge for the music, Hunee made his official step into the scene in 2009 and has continued to work his way up the ladder as an incredibly hardworking, energetic and dedicated selector and producer.

With releases on Rush Hour, Future Times and W.T., as a producer he conjures up infectious grooves and highlights a rich house heritage. His musical eclecticism is perhaps a reflection of his time spent living in different cities such as Berlin, Amsterdam and L.A, and travelling all over the world providing DJ sets with the aim of enriching the lives of listeners.

Romare
Archie Fairhurst, known as Romare, takes his name from 20th century artist Romare Bearden. Applying a philosophy found within the artwork of the African-American artist’s work, Romare’s cut’n’paste, collage style can be found throughout his music and remains central to his work today.

His debut album, Projections, is a sonic exploration into American life, drawing from a huge bank of influences, from Jazz to Blues to Disco and Psychedelic. With a sound that will envoke early-noughties nostaglia whilst sounding effortlessly fresh, don’t miss out on an incredible live set from the man himself.

Tenderlonious
Rising talent and head of record label 22a, Tenderlonious is an innovative and forward thinking artist at the forefront of the London’s new wave of young musicians. A gifted multi-instrumentalist, his soulful improvisational productions have gained recognition from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Benji B, Osunlade, Lefto and Alexander Nut to name a few.

An established figure on the underground scene, he has also received worldwide recognition for releases such as ‘Bob’s Riddim’ and his EP, On Flute. Don’t miss out on an infamous live performance with the 22archestra, featuring plenty of synths, percussion, and flutes!

With an incredible line-up featuring some of the best electronic artists and DJs from around the globe, don't miss out on one of the UK's best electronic music festivals!
