Dot to Dot Festival have announced that this year’s concert tour will be headlined by The Horrors at the end of May. The festival takes over local indoor arenas across each of the cities for one day only, and in Bristol this will take place on Saturday May 26 this year.

The three-day festival over Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester has had several big names play in the past, with last year’s line-up being headed up by Sundara Karma, and the likes of The Temper Trap, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Wolf Alice and The 1975 have all played in the past. It specialises in bringing together some of the biggest names in indie music at the moment with some newer artists, allowing them to play on the same stages and gain new fans.

Following last year’s album V, The Horrors will lead the list of names this year, supported by Dermot Kennedy and Pale Waves. Kennedy played Thekla last month after his release of ‘Moments Passed’ last year, while Pale Waves released their debut EP All The Things I Never Said last month.

Also playing across the festival is folk vocalist Marika Hackman, and singer-songwriter and actress Mahalia. Bath-based indie group Bad Sounds, Turnover and Gus Dapperton will also appear.

Also announced were The Regrettes and Cassia, who will perform at SWX later this month. Our preview of that show can be found here.

There are still many more acts on the lineup and some yet to be announced, Get your tickets now!
