Endorphins launch their late-night live-music clubnight at Komedia Studios, with a platitude of homegrown talent.

Don't miss out on a very limited number of £3 early bird tickets exclusively through Native!

Live music? At a Clubnight? Once a thing of bygone eras, only experienced and enjoyed by our parent's generation, is making a small but steady return.

Live music has been conspicuously absent from the club scene in Brighton. With only Casablanca's and the odd night at Sticky Mike's breaking down the boundaries between gig and club culture.

At last, enters Endorphins – a late-night live-music clubnight, that combines and programmes live music, DJ's & visuals into a singular club formula. With the ethos of returning live music to club culture, they aim to provide a space where gig lovers can get their nocturnal fix and fun – well into the nighttime hours in our music haven of Brighton.

Aspiring to be the antithesis of your standard resident cover band club night (sorry Casablancas!), Endorphins sources Brightonian talent – with their first showcase headlined by Circa 2000 – who's not only making his headline debut but his Brighton debut too.

Described as an artist who combines elements of both synth-pop and experimental electronica, Circa 2000 has just released his excellent LP 'Thoughts in Visa' – a homage to motorik records, arpeggios and sequenced rhythms. Expect Circa 2000 to glide you through till the early hours with sun-kissed synth-pop, listen to 'Fall All over the Place' below:

Split into two carefully selected parts, the first half see's bands back to back warming up the night, with Good Guy Clarence – an act that blends intricate guitar melodies with unusual vocal harmonies, to create a sound that consists of colourful rhythmic and melodic dynamics –opening the night.

Second up, is Tinman. New kids on the Brighton scene  – Tinman have already made quite a name for themselves. Known for their vibrant live performances and raucous house party shows, they combine twinkly math-rock guitars with Morrisey-esque vocals to create a truly unique and anthemic sound.

Taking the party deeper into the night and into more club territory – qgb will be promoting his forthcoming EP Hornets. Already picked up by Ben UFO on Rinse FM, Call Super & Radar Radio – qgb will be presenting his debut live set – combining algorithmic sequencing, hardware instruments and hyper-digital synthesis. Expect colourful soundscapes, treacherous rhythms, rumbling sub-bass, and striking visual accompaniments.

Pulling it all together on the decks, all the way from Oxford is REDONDO from exotic playful-party-planners Tropicle Popsicle, who alongside Endorphins residents will be the selectors for the night – guiding you from act to act.

Alongside live manipulated visuals, barren landscapes and minimalist photography will be displayed by Liv Myers, Alistair Hornsby, Emma Phillips and Hannah Lapsley.

So dance floor steppers, gig head bobbers come together for an afresh and unique club night in the city. And if you happen to miss it, fear not as Platform B Radio is live streaming the entire thing – and archive it to be played at a later date!
