Dublin’s resident rap sensation, Rejjie Snow, embarks on his Dear Annie tour.

The rapper, who just released his universally praised album, Dear Annie, is playing the O2 institute on April 22nd

Hit singles such as ‘Egyptian Luvr’ and ‘D.R.U.G.S.’ showcase his melodic and soothing sound, whilst songs such as ‘Crooked Cops’ give the rapper room to address social issues. Rejjie Snow released his first EP in 2013 titled, Rejovich, which topped the iTunes hip-hop chart. His second release The Moon & You was released last year for free.

Although a career in football beckoned after his scholarship in Florida, Rejjie Snow has certainly found the back of the net with his latest release Dear Annie. The album, which frequently includes sections of songs in French, displays the epitome of love whilst also exploring heartbreak and loneliness.

Collaborations with Cam O’bi and his ‘good friend’ Kaytranada, put the rapper in good company and he is destined to have a stellar career in hip-hop. The album also features Ebenezer who will open the show in Birmingham. Ebenezer has already accumulated a strong roster of guest features and his recent collaboration with Duke Dumont is a regular on radio airwaves.

Alongside Ebenezer, the Northampton native, Slowthai will also perform before Rejjie Snow. Slowthai’s gritty style and introspective wordplay have earned him rave reviews.

Rejjie Snow has had comparisons to the likes of Tyler, The Creator and Chance the Rapper with his genre-bending sound.

This is one of 7 UK shows which includes performances in Manchester and Leeds. The majority of his shows in the UK have sold out and there are only a few remaining tickets for the Birmingham event so move fast! More details and tickets here.
