Barn on the Farm festival in Gloucester is one of the best small festivals around, and they know how to get people coming back year after year.

They introduced something special for the select few ticket holders a while ago, by having a secret headliner play on their famous barn stage on the Friday night. Intimate Thursdays were then announced, so there’s even more music to be enjoyed – if you managed to get a ticket, of course.

On Monday, June 11, Barn on the Farm announced the line-up for both ‘Intimate Thursday’ and ‘Behind Barn Doors Friday’; headliners for both gigs are still a secret, but the rest of the line-up is a triumph in itself.

On Thursday expect to see the gorgeous Billie Marten, Barn on the Farm veterans Matthew and the Atlas, Dan Owen, Vistas, Arctic Lake, Eve Belle, Abbie Piper and Native favourites, Cassia. This will be a super small show, where the audience can get up and close with the artists, and probably hang out with them afterwards too. It’s such a friendly vibe on Over Farm, the moment you arrive you feel a part of the family, so if you’ve got a ticket for this then you’re definitely lucky.

Friday’s line-up is slightly larger, meaning the crowd probably will be too, but you won’t mind sharing the barn with more people when you hear who they’ve got playing. Our favourite Irish guys Hudson Taylor are on the bill, as well as the talented Youngr.

Some Barn on the Farm old-timers will be back such as Orla Gartland, and Lauren Aquilina will be performing her first festival in a long time, so you don’t want to miss her. Of course, regulars Outlya will be making an appearance, and the amazing Billy Lockett will take to the stage. We actually got to interview Billy Lockett recently, so look out for that on Native soon.

Other artists on the Friday include Skinny Living, Adam French, Bristol’s breakthrough act Keir, James Gillespie, Rosie Carney, Jack Vallier, Sam Johnson, Ferris & Sylvester, Kin and Harrisen Larner-Main. There’ll be more acts on the day too, as well as the mystery headliner.

Both these nights are sold out, but tickets to the main festival are still available. If you want to catch the likes of Tom Grennan, Tom Misch, Mystery Jets, Fickle Friends, Dermot Kennedy, Pale Waves and many more, grab your tickets here.
