Since their debut event back in April, we've had our eye on Drum Safari. Preferring to keep it tight-knit in Hideout's cosy 300-cap space, Drum Safari is fuelled by a passion for progressive DnB. Genre-bending sets, thoroughly decorated nightclubs and high-energy dancefloors are the name of the game and this October the safari returns for another immersive expedition.

Newcomer Low:r, a metalhead turned DnB producer, is the latest addition to the Drum Safari crew and today he provides a spiraling mix of soulful, liquid drum and bass with sweet subtle builds and visceral, euphoric drops.

Chatting to Drum Safari head honcho, Robin, it's clear that this is only the beginning. Walking us through the lineup, every DJ and MC is meticulously chosen - all on merit - and there is a clear policy of blending proven talent with exciting up and comers. When asked about the future of Drum Safari, Robin dropped some pretty intriguing hints:

"We've got a couple of events in the pipeline over winter, with a headliner in for November which should make for a very intimate show. We're really looking forward to announcing that one, it's not going to be what people might be expecting."
