Terms and Conditions
The e-ticket must to presented in order to redeem the wristband which Welcome Hub on Library Square 10am-5pm from Saturday September 16th to Friday September 22nd. Wristbands can also be collected at each individual event, subject to entry times. See specific event details for information.
Tickets are non-refundable, and non-transferable.
Please note that official University of Sussex Students’ Union Freshers tickets are only sold through our website (www.sussexstudent.com), the Native app, or at our Welcome Hub on campus.
For over 18s events, valid ID will be required to enter. Only the following forms of ID are acceptable:
- Passports
- Drivers license (UK and EU)
- National Identification cards (EU countries Only - Must have hologram or an ultraviolet feature to be acceptable)
- IDs bearing the Portman Pass Logo
- University of Sussex ID card displaying date of birth
The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission to the event site.
Persons deemed to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will not be granted entry.
The organiser reserves the right to search all persons and personal property, confiscate any forbidden items and refuse admission to anyone who refuses to be searched by a security official.
Illegal substances are strictly prohibited. Any attendee found in possession of illegal substances will be removed and appropriate authorities may be contacted.
Antisocial behaviour is strictly prohibited.
Once you have left the event, re-entry will not be allowed, with the exception of medical grounds which have been cleared by management
At some events, no own alcohol will be permitted due to licensing restrictions. This will be clearly signed and must be respected on every occasion.
Attendees are asked to be mindful of Union values when wearing fancy dress, any costume found to be in breach of Students’ Union values could result in refusal of entry to the event. For further information please refer to our Equality and Diversity policy: https://www.sussexstudent.com/
Photo and video may be taken at this event, and by attending you consent to allow the Students’ Union to use images taken for promotional purposes.

The Organiser reserves the right to make any change to the event and/or line-up owing to any unforeseen or unavoidable cause
The Organiser does not accept responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen property.
By purchasing a ticket the purchaser is agreeing to these terms and conditions.
