Is this Eminem's second 'Curtain Call'?

Detroit rap legend Eminem has just dropped his 10th studio album completely out of the blue, with the announcement arriving via Twitter at midnight on the US' east coast. With cover art strongly resembling Beastie Boys' 1986 LP, 'License To Ill', is this Marshall Mathers' nosedive into retirement or is the 45-year old going out in a spectacular fireball?

With attacks on Donald Trump and the new school of Soundcloud rappers, plus a reference to Mike Pence's scrotum and a random track from the upcoming Venom movie, is this the album that finally silences the growing line of critics who have been queuing up since 2009's 'Relapse'? The answer, probably not.

Featuring the likes of Royce Da 5'9, Joyner Lucas and Jessie Reyez, the album was executively produced by Dr. Dre and Eminem and also features Bon Iver's Justin Vernon.
