Jack Black and Kyle Gass, AKA Tenacious D, are back. You heard right.

The new album, Post-Apocalypto, which features Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl on drums, is set to drop on November 2nd. In the meantime, fans will be treated to an animated YouTube series of the same name. Drawn by Jack Black, the series spans six episodes and features new songs to lead up to the album release.

According to a press release, the Post-Apocolypto series features Black and Gass exploring "a world of complete and utter destruction following the drop of an atomic bomb." It features "an insane visit to the White House, a time machine, a space adventure and the help of some tried and true daddy issues."
