And it's not his first...

Over the years, many celebs have dabbled in musical projects, from the likes of Kevin Bacon, Scarlett Johansson, Ryan Gosling, Robert Downey Jr, Clint Eastwood and even Jackie Chan.

Tom Hardy is joining that list.

Believe it or not, this is actually Hardy's second foray into the rap game. Two decades ago under the moniker Tommy No.1, a young pre-fame, pre-Bane Hardy recorded a mixtape with friend DJ Eddie Too Tall from a bedroom - and it's actually pretty good!

Falling On Your Arse In 1999 was uploaded to Bandcamp earlier this year and features a mix of lo-fi Hip-Hop with Jazz and movie samples with a youthful Hardy rapping over the top.

Teaming up with top producer Sam Williams, Hardy has been back in the lab working on a selection of songs for an album - and it's "really starting to get some steam".
