From their TV debut on The Jools Holland Show to their Autumn US tour, Cardiff-band Boy Azooga are cementing themselves in the global music scene.

After writing and recording their debut album ‘1, 2 Kung Fu’ and selling out legendary venue Clwb Ifor Bach earlier this year, they’ve now nabbed a national award.

Last year The Welsh Music Prize was won by the Gentle Good, who performed tonight at the ceremony at The Exchange in Cardiff, alongside fellow nominees Manic Street Preachers, Gruff Rhys, and Gwenno. Llongyfarchiadau boys!
