The London festival is relocating for a second year running

London festival Field Day has, this morning, announced the location of their new festival site for 2019.

Last year, the festival took place in South London's Brockwell Park after being (somewhat unceremoniously) pushed out of their previous home of 10 years, Victoria Park, by new-festival-on-the-block All Points East - a move which also saw Lovebox forced to relocate west.

Reviews suggested that Field Day's venue in 2018 hampered the experience a little, with curfews and overcrowding preventing punters from fully appreciating an expertly programmed festival line up.

It seems the heads behind Field Day have identified the site as important to its audience and so have decided to relocate again, for the second time in as many years, announcing this morning that Field Day 2019 will be taking place at Meridian Water, a 10-acre site in Enfield.

The site, which included four interconnected warehouses, the largest of which has a capacity of 7,500, will "allow [us] to break down the restrictions that London festivals are normally faced with," said festival director Luke Huxham, with Enfield Council already giving Field Day 2019 the green light to go later than any other London festival.

The festival will take place on the 7th and 8th of June and you can register for pre-sale here
