Guess who's back, yo!

After news broke out last year that a Breaking Bad feature film was in the works after the award winning AMC Series came to its epic conclusion in 2013, fans across the world have been left in suspense about what a Breaking Bad movie would look like.

Spoilers (although, if you haven't seen Breaking Bad yet, where have you been?)

Did Walt survive? Is he locked up in a maximum security prison like El Chapo? What about all of the glimpses of a future for Saul Goodman in the equally fantastic, Better Call Saul. Will we find out how he ended up working in a Cinnebon?

Revealed!

Today it was announced that the Breaking Bad movie will in fact be a sequel to the hit TV series and not a spin-off or prequel like many have speculated.

The feature length movie will focus on Aaron Paul who will be reprising his role as Jesse Pinkman, who we saw speed off in a frenzy after being saved by Walter White from Todd and Uncle Jack's Nazi gang.

Details on the premise for the film are yet to come however The Hollywood Reporter claim it will 'follow the escape of a kidnapped man (Paul's Jesse) and his quest for freedom'. . It is believed Netflix will be distributing the Breaking Bad movie on their platform and will then air on AMC.

Showrunner and creator, Vince Gilligan, will be returning to write the film and is speculated to direct also.

This is huge news for Breaking Bad fans everywhere - we can't wait to see what's next for Jesse and potentially more much loved characters when the film hits the silver screen.
