As anyone who’s spent any time enjoying the Bristol nightlife will know, the city has an amazing selection of small nights to enjoy. Yes, we get massive names like The Blast, Drumcode and Hospitality coming to town but as any true Bristolian raver will know, it’s not all about the big boys.

With its healthy underground music and student scene, Bristol also has many brilliant, smaller nights. Here we have listed a few names that you might want to check out the next time you feel like hitting the town.

Clotted Cream
Clotted Cream is a new night on the Bristol scene. They’ve thrown a series of feel good parties over the past few months in some of Bristol’s most loved venues.

For those who aren’t fans of the darker side of dance music, Clotted Cream is the night for you. They focus on disco, funk and soul, three genres which you cannot help but love. On top of that they give out free ice cream at their parties! It takes an already great night to a next level one.

Semi Peppered
Semi Peppered are a Bristol based collective, label and radio show who also happen to throw some great club nights. They’ve held parties all over the city with artists like Elena Colombi and Izabel in venues like Lakota, Cosies! and The Island. 

As well as their own parties they’ve also been involved with other projects, such as last summer’s Shall Not Fade outdoor party at Motion, which featured massive acts like Mall Grab and DJ Boring.

More Than
Since 2016, More Than have been showcasing extended sets from artists from all over the world. They have hosted nights in plenty of spaces that you wouldn’t necessarily expect to hold host to a rave. From a loft space to the tunnels beneath Temple Meads, their parties are always unique.

Deep Discs
Deep Discs is an events company which is all about showcasing the finest underground music talent. They’ve only been around for just over a year, but they’ve already made their mark on the Bristol scene.

They’ve thrown many of their own fantastic nights as well as teaming up with some of Bristol’s more established nights, (such as Cult), at some of Bristol’s biggest clubs like Lakota and Motion.

Their next night is coming up soon at The Love Inn on May 19. Entitled 'Soul Shake & Friends at Rave on Avon', you can expect a night of the most loved local acts from across Bristol.
