They will play live at FOPP this Thursday
Bristol five-piece IDLES will play Manchester's FOPP music store this Thursday (6th September). It is part of a run of intimate in-store live shows to mark the release of their second album, Joy As An Act Of Resistance.
It comes after the band announced a pop-up art exhibition at London's HM Electrics Gallery, which took place on 30th and 31st August and was curated by the band. All proceeds were donated to the Samaritans charity.
'Samaritans' is the third single to be taken from Joy As An Act Of Resistance, the Theo Watkins-directed music video compiling archival clips displaying traditional masculine imagery.
Having already played London, Bristol, Sheffield and various other cities, IDLES will play live and sign records at FOPP from 5.30pm. Entry will be limited to wristband holders only. Find out how you can get your wristband here.
This autumn, IDLES will embark on their first ever global tour, including their biggest London headliner yet at O2 Forum Kentish Town on 18th October. Their last London headliner, at Heaven, sold out nearly six months in front. Tickets are available from IDLES' wesbite.
