UK capital takes over the city that never sleeps New York City...
Data analysts Expedia have declared London to be the gig capital of the world in a new report.
The data research company utilised figures from Songkick, peering through almost 370,000 concerts across over 4000 locations in the world.
Ranking cities according to the number of gigs they offer, Expedia have placed London right at the very top.
The UK capital offered 1,923 live performances in the set time-frame, while New York and Los Angeles arrive in second and third place with 11,089 and 11,079.
The full breakdown offers some interesting insights, with Expedia ranking the results split by places and countries with the overall amount of gigs and gigs per thousand people.
