It's not every day that Brighton gets a new space for music.

Over the years, the span of Brighton’s seafront has played a key role in the city's development, becoming the de facto hub for South Coast nightlife. Venues have come and gone - when they close it's always a sad day, but the circle of life continues, and today we welcome a brand new music venue to our seaside city. 

Hideout.

In combination with a programme that features dance music's premier acts, Hideout will act as a space to showcase the underground and undiscovered. With a focus on musical diversity, Hideout will offer local brands and promoters the opportunity to showcase themselves, in addition to hosting some of dance music's biggest stars.

Inside, we know that the club will be an intimate affair - likely less than 400 capacity, with an industrial aesthetic. 

Sounds good so far, however, a venue can look incredible, host the biggest names, and have the cheapest drinks - but without the proper sound system to back it up, everything else becomes inconsequential. Fortunately, the people behind Hideout share this view.

With a Funktion One System, a name synonymous with quality, at its core, Hideout will provide event-goers in Brighton with a near unprecedented sonic experience. Over the past 15 years, Funktion One has become something of an industry standard, with the name often appearing on event pages and posters as a symbol of dedication to quality sound.

By opening up a space to that showcases both up and coming talent and established dance music heavyweights, all in crystal clear audio, Hideout has the perfect formula to establish itself amongst Brighton's seafront giants.

The importance of spaces such as these is vital in opening ears to sounds of the future and nurturing a local scene, two foundations that Hideout will be built upon.
