Let's rewind and slow it down to better times with the best old school RnB tracks EVER

The best RnB songs have crisp beats and showcase the musical talent hitting the music scene in the 90s and early 00s. Smooth and seductive, it's no wonder many of these artists continue to bless the dancefloor with their tracks becoming classic dancehalls favourties, if they're not already revamped and sampled into new songs. From Usher, Lauryn Hill to TLC, we've made sure our list covers everything you need for RnB nostalgia.

Find the top 10 RnB songs with native.

1. 'No Scrubs' - TLC

Hitting the dancefloors 9 times out of 10 on a night out you're bound to remember this one. One of the biggest records of 1999 was the epitome of 'men are trash' people speak of today. The female group complains about inadequate men, telling them to level up if they want love. Twenty years later, 'No Scrubs' gives the confidence and sass the girls need on the dancefloor. We absolutely love to see it.

2. Let Me Love You - Mario

Reminding us of the genres honest roots, 'Let Me Love You' by Mario sings about love and pain with a classic smooth sound. Holding #1 position on the US Billboard chart for nine weeks in early 2005, we all know the words to this one.

3. Dilemma - Nelly featuring Kelly Rowland

Awarded a Grammy for the Best Rap/ Sung Performance in 2002, 'Dilemma' is the butterflies in your stomach kind of love we're all looking for. Its no wonder Sigma have recently sampled the song into an upbeat track, blessing festivals and dancefloor across the country. Go give it a listen.

4. Yo (Excuse Me Miss) - Chris Brown

Ooooo this one is IT. Serving as the second single from Brown's debut album 'Chris Brown' in 2005, it became the top ten single in the US and peaked at number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100. We need more songs like this!

5. Say My Name - Destiny's Child

Revamped and remastered many times in the last 20 years, the classic still hits the dancefloors today. With a sexy bass the empowerment anthem continues to inspire today's pop/Rnb hit-makers and is probably Destiny's Child most known song. It's definitely made history in the music scene.

6. Always on Time - Ja Rule featuring Ashanti

A tale of relationships trials and tribulations Ja Rule and Ashanti join to make Def Jam's top-selling single. 'Always on time' is a classic we can't get out of our heads.

7. U Remind Me - Usher

A personal favourite. Taking the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 list and staying there for the entire month in 2001, Usher expresses the idea of wanting to date a girl but also not wanting to because she looks like his ex. The track highlights the confusing nature of dating and love and we can all relate is one way or another.

8. Oops (Oh My) - Tweet featuring Missy Elliot

One hit wonder Charlene Keys, better known as US singer Tweet, sets hearts racing when this sexy strip-off track featuring Missy Elliott released in 2002. A one-hit wonder that will never leave our heads and hearts.

9. Miss Independent - Ne-Yo

Coming out a lot later than the previous tracks in 2008, Ne-Yo's Miss Independent showcases the essence of what it is to be a gentleman and how to treat a lady. The perfect serenading song with a smooth love-filled beat.

10. Doo Wop (That Thing) - Ms. Lauryn Hill

American singer, songwriter and rapper Lauryn Hill harmonizes in the classic track 'Doo Wop'. Best known for being a member of Fugees, this solo track showcases her talent in the simplest two-chord piano riff. A talented artist we cannot forget.
